We didn’t always live in Australia. We emigrated from Ireland in early 2008 and settled in the Redlands and have never left. I find that living in Cleveland gives me a real sense of community and belonging. I started my studies in counselling in 2019 when I needed to understand the traits and behaviours behind anxiety and my own mental wellbeing. I finally finished my studies and opened my own private practice at the beginning of 2022. I’m now a registered Counsellor with the Australian counselling association, and I have recently completed my Mental Health First Aid certificate as well as studying for my major in relationship and conflict resolution counselling. I also hope to complete my studies by majoring in Grief and Loss counselling by the end of 2022. I would like to tell you a little bit more about me before we connect as a Counsellor/ Client.
